Have an error when trying to save my work (Support requests)

Enclosed see image of error and image of continuation of error message.. I'm fairly new to icomancer; I had an account for a short time and then had to reformat my hard drive. Today I saw an offer with BitsDuJour, so I took advantage of it.

I signed into my old account with my old criteria, but now the upgrade button is grayed out. It does say I'm a standard user, though. Is it necessary to update the Standard user code?

My error jumped up when I tried to save a simple project just to get started. Something flashed about my security software, but didn't stay on the screen. I tried looking up this error in the forum, but there is no other with all the stuff that's in mine. Thank you for your help on this; as I said, I'm rather new at all this!

Is there any benefit to joining the forum and signing in? If so, I would like to do that.

Thank you for your kind attention to my issue. I hope you will be able to help me fix this.

Sincerely,

Grateful4U :-P

Er... You have to fix a couple of things:

First of all, I've sent you an email regarding your account, because it was previously disabled. You have to, first, reconnect your account by hitting "Switch account" on the Launcher, then upgrade it again by using the coupon from the BDJ promo.

But in order to do that, you should update icomancer to version 1.3.3, because that's the release that has the coupon upgrade function, as specified here: http://www.lavasoftworks.com/icomancer/forum/index.php?id=71

Now... I'm not sure of what you wanted to craft, but it seems like you're building an icon from an empty image (an icomancer's default) and want to apply it to the "temp" folder. And... well, that's not a typical behavior. I strongly recommend you to check the manual, there's all fully explained.

By the way: if you want to assign a color/texture to a folder, you should use the "imbue" function instead of the "craft" function.

On the other hand, if you got the message of the security program, it is because your antivirus or some security package you have installed is messing with icomancer and preventing it to change folder attributes and save its own configuration files. The only way to fix this is to whitelist icomancer on your security program and change the shortcut to allow it to run as administrator.

Finally, there's no need to register here at the forum. In fact, the only registered users are the admins and moderators :)
