Sync not working Content manager

I cannot download the icons that where sync to the site. Ihave uploaded a lot of them. I had to redo the program, because ai had to re do my computer. Now the syc does not work on the program. It only downloads 3 folder icons that I had made recently.

Community libraries are back!

Some months ago we were forced to disable the community libraries due to the massive increase in size of the icomancer images and icons databases. User contents were being received and properly saved, but only for backup/restore purposes. Browsing the galleries to pick images or icons shared by other users was impossible: the preparation of the contents took several minutes and under certain circumstances, they caused crashes due to memory overflows.

During the last days we put our hands on the server code and optimized the databases. After several fails, we finally brought a good fix and, after running tests, we saw a speed increment similar to when icomancer had just a handful of users.

We made some stress tests and the server is now scratching its tummy most of the time, so we wrapped up the whole thing and announced it with bells and whistles.

So, feel free to take a look at other users images when crafting icons for your folders or pick from the icons gallery to imbue them directly

If you experience any issue, don't hesitate on posting a support request here on the forum!

There was an issue with one data file on the server. It is fixed. Now you can login again.

It is possible that this same issue was causing the hangup when crafting and uploading contents to the server, so please craft and imbue something and let me know if you keep having these issues.

I forgot to add. The reason why I reinsalled the program. It froze up trying to use my icons ti imbue a folder.

I am having a problem with the program. I uninstalled it. Then reinstalled the program. When I restart it. The icomancer account setup shows which is normal. The problem is when I entered my username and password, and push the enter button it goes blank. Then I got a message about the license.Now icomancer will connect to the internet and get a license file for you. No personal information will be transmitted in the process.
Then another message popped up.

Please try running icomancer as administrator. This is a common issue when a folder can't be accessed due to security restrictions.

Exception with embody (reply)

Uhm... did you try with a more standard folder? Something like C:\User\Documents\Whatever?

Though drive letters shouldn't be an issue with any program, signed or not, UAC may become kicky when an unsigned program tries to access a software-mapped drive (virtual drive using the subst command or a similar way, since mapped shares are a different animal).

Now, something you can try if you want, is totally disabling UAC, then you'll see icomancer works without any exceptions at all.

Exception with embody

I tested the context menu and the embody command raised the exception. For further checks the command was put into a bat-file and was started normal and elevated. Both times the exeption was raised.

Something wrong in the path (reply)

Either icomancer isn't recognizing characters in the path you want to set the icon to or something is messing with icomancer reading the path.

Please try running icomancer as administrator and then setting the icon to the folder. If after this, the problem persists, please let me know.

That error seems to be related to a change in your display size... like having a new monitor attached to your computer or changing the pixel density, which makes the display area smaller.

So, you should hit the "Reset settings" icon on icomancer's group on the Start Menu.

When trying to Manage/Synchronize content I get this error. All I was trying to do was to synchronize stuff. When I click the button which is Manage/Synchronize content that is when the error comes up.

The images they're based on are the actual images built upon the imageres.dll file included in Vista and Seven. Let me see if I can build them up without the transparency. If possible, I'll release them as the opaque versions within November.
