Imbuing icons to folders

“Imbuing” is setting a previously crafted icon or a simple icon from pre-selections with the “Imbuer”. This mode is used when you want to assign a straight color, texture, color + texture, add-on icon or even a pre-created icon from your local collection or the Online Community Library to one or more folders or shortcuts. It is similar to the Crafter in the sense of having all selectors at once. The main difference is that here you actually set icons to folders or shortcuts from previously crafted items, and you can’t select a different Folder Template or any picture at all.

Windows XP limitations for imbuing

The Windows Shell API for Windows XP is different than the Windows Vista and Seven Shell API. For this reason, applying icons to shortcuts from icomancer is not possible for Windows XP. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
